Welcome to the Nigerian Society for Paediatric Cardiology (NISOPAC)
We’re a professional association of paediatricians dedicated to providing specialized care for children with congenital and acquired heart diseases, including arrhythmias and hypertension. Our mission is to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular diseases in children, and to promote research and education in pediatric cardiology.
Our Objectives
- To be a body that unifies all Nigerian Paediatric Cardiologists at all stages of their career.
- To facilitate the early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in children
- To actively support the provision of specialty education and training of medical personnel in all aspects of Paediatric Cardiology.
- To actively create awareness in the general public on cardiovascular health problems in children.
- To encourage research by Fellows and Associate Fellows in Paediatric Cardiology
What We Do
Quarterly Educational Series: We organize regular educational events and workshops to update our members on the latest developments in pediatric cardiology.
Annual Scientific Conferences: Our conferences provide a platform for members to share research, exchange ideas, and network with colleagues.
Collaboration and Partnerships: We partner with local and international organizations to promote paediatric cardiology and improve children’s heart health.
We publish up-to-date knowledge on paediatric cardiovascular diseases through our website, newsletters and scientific journal.
